Terrific suspension illusion for stage or club!
A fringed and padded platform rests on a two-fold screen. Two swords are placed underneath the platform, further supporting it. A spectator (weighing up to 125 lbs.) is then placed on the platform. You "do a little magic", and the screen is removed from under the platform- only the swords are holding it up. Then the swords are removed as well- and the platform, with the spectator aboard, appears suspended in midair!
This is a spectacular illusion that can be done in very close quarters (though it cannot be done surrounded). It is very portable; the gimmick weighs only 10 lbs., and the illusion packs flat. This is the version that allows you to rotate the top platform.
According to the manufacturer, this illusion will support a person up to 125 pounds. Supplied with screen, padded platform, two swords, base with casters, and gimmick. You can use any spectator from the audience, as long as the person weighs under 125 pounds, can fit on the platform, and will sit still during the illusion. The person does not have to be rehearsed, and does not have to know how the trick is done.
