An effect that defies the laws of pure chance!

 

You and a spectator each select two cards from a deck with a kaleidoscope of more than 25 different back designs. Amazingly, the backs of the chosen cards match. Even better, the faces of the selected cards match, too! You explain that of all the cards that could be chosen, you and your spectator chose the only ones that were different. Because when you turn the deck over- all of the rest of the faces are the same card, a different value than the ones chosen by the two of you!

 

Very startling! "A self-working miracle", as the package says.

Example: The deck has different back designs: a flower, a landscape, stars, etc. You and your spectator both happen to choose a flower back and a landscape back, for example. When the cards are turned over, you both chose an eight of hearts and a three of clubs, for example. And when the deck is turned over, all the rest of the cards are tens of diamonds, for example. Each deck is different- the cards in your deck may be different than our example, but the trick works in the exact same way.

Your package may say "Rainbow Deck" or "Kaleidoscope Cards"- it is the same trick.
