Performance Ideas
Use Robbie and a Lota Bowl. Explain that Robbie is new to show business, and get a little nervous. Place Robbie on top of the Lota Bowl for a moment, then pour a bit of water from the Bowl until it is empty. Place Robbie back on the Bowl, and continue with your show. Several minutes later, return to Robbie, pour more water out of the Bowl, put Robbie back on the bowl and return to your show. Repeat this a number of times. It gets a lot of laughs!
Tell the story: "I brought Robbie into a restaurnat with me to enoy a nice dinner out. We were having a nice time until the waiter came over and said "You can't bring a live animal in here". Well, there was only one thing to do.." (You take the puppet and whack his head on the table a few times, as if you are killing him). "Is that better?" The shock of the story always gets laughs.
