By the way, the name of this deck, Stripper Deck, refers to the way the cards are cut, or "stripped". It is NOT an X-Rated trick in any way! It is simply a cleverly cut deck of cards that allows anyone, even children, to perform some astounding card tricks.
The
Stripper Deck is similar to the
Svengali Deck in that each deck has specially cut cards that help you do great card tricks with no sleight of hand. The
Stripper Deck, however, can be handed to the spectator and shuffled if necessary. The
Svengali Deck cannot be shuffled.
These cards have a custom back design. They are poker size, they are high quality, but they have their own back design. The playing card decks usually found in drugstores and supermarkets are Bicycle Brand poker size cards. Some magicians want their card decks to appear as "ordinary" as possible, and therefore prefer to use Bicycle brand Stripper cards instead of these custom back cards. Both decks work exactly the same way- the only difference is the back design- and the price. Your box may say "Magic Taper Deck"- it's also the same deck.
